Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania, Andrius Kalindra together with Honorary Consul Temur Ustiashvili and friends of Lithuania celebrated the day of the restoration of the Lithuanian state in Batumi. Addressing the gathered guests, the ambassador expressed his happiness about the long-term relations between Lithuania and Georgia, as well as the visit of the mayor of Batumi to Klaipėda, which took place a month ago, marking the recent accelerated speed of the development of cooperation between these cities. Klaipėda City Mayor, Vytautas Grubliauskas, also sent a video greeting on the occasion of the holiday. Head of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara and Batumi Mayor also delivered their greetings and congratulations at the reception. The celebration of the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania took place in Batumi for the first time, bringing together good friends of Lithuania from all over the Western regions of Georgia.
