Otar Shamugia meets the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus.
The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. Otar Shamugia, met Mrs. Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed current projects and potential cooperation issues with the World Bank’s assistance, including agricultural and environmental protection areas.
Mr. Otar Shamugia emphasized the importance of cooperation with the World Bank, focusing on the challenges in the irrigation infrastructure, land management, agricultural development, and the results achieved by joint projects.
” The World Bank-supported “Georgia Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation, and Land Project” plays a special role in reforming the irrigation sector of Georgia. I believe that with maximal collaboration and coordination, we will be able to effectively implement common goals, overcome challenges, and achieve better results,” said Mr. Otar Shamugia.
According to Mrs. Rolande Pryce, Georgia, and the World Bank have had a long-standing successful cooperation, and relations will deepen even more in the future.
