Visit of the delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan to Georgia

From 21 to 27 April 2024, a delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan is on a 

 visit to Georgia.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation had an introductory meeting at the Parliament of Georgia, which was attended from the Georgian side by the First Deputy Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee Mr. Gogi Meshveliani, and specialists of the Committee.

During the meeting, the Georgian side thoroughly familiarized the delegation with the main functions and tasks of the supreme legislative body of Georgia, as well as the Budget and Finance Committee. 

Special attention was paid to the support of the legislators of the two countries in interstate trade and economic relations, intensification of cultural and humanitarian contacts, relations in the spheres of education and science, sports and tourism.
