Tbilisi Celebrates Unity and Joy at the 9th Festival of Colours by NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future

Tbilisi, Georgia — The vibrant spirit of India came alive in the heart of Tbilisi as the NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future (NGOCDPF) successfully organized the 9th Festival of Colours at Mtatsminda Park. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 2000 Indian students, along with guests from diverse communities, celebrating unity, joy, and cultural harmony.The festival was honored by the presence of the first Ambassador of India to Georgia, H.E. Mr. Amit Kumar Mishra, who addressed the gathering and shared insights about the newly opened Embassy of India in Georgia, marking a significant milestone in strengthening diplomatic and cultural ties between the two nations.Distinguished guest Ms. Natalia Kvantaliani also attended the event and presented awards to Indian donors who have been actively contributing to blood donation drives, recognizing their humanitarian efforts and community spirit.Adding to the cultural richness, the Indian Cultural Centre “Lakshmi” showcased vibrant performances, with Georgian girls gracefully dancing to Indian songs, symbolizing the deep cultural connection between India and Georgia. The renowned Georgian folk dance group “Georgian Pesvebi” captivated the audience with their traditional performances, blending local heritage with the festival’s international spirit.The musical energy of the evening was elevated by DJ Kimie from Dubai, along with DJ Dulan and DJ Arvind, who kept the crowd dancing with electrifying beats.
