A Photo exhibition dedicated to the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi opened in Tbilisi
On 26 July 2024, within the framework of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, a photo exhibition “300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi: a view from Georgia” opened at Akhundov House Gallery. The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.
The event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia, representatives of ministries and agancies of Georgia, professional and amateur photographers, artists and cultural figures, representatives of scientific intelligentsia, as well as mass media.
The photo exhibition featured 50 works by Turkmen artists depicting famous events from the life of Magtymguly. The exposition of pictures was held against the background of Turkmen national music.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Georgia Mr. Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov addressed the audience with welcoming remarks. He noted that the event will contribute to wider familiarization of the world community with the works of Magtymguly Fragi, strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the brotherly peoples.
