KazTransOil JSC’s Subsidiary Ships First Batch of Kazakhstani Ammonium Phosphate for Export from Batumi Port
Batumi Sea Port LLC, a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC (managed exclusively by Batumi
Oil Terminal LLC), has successfully transshipped 3,000 tons of Kazakhstani ammonium
phosphate for export.
This marks the first-ever export of this mineral fertilizer from Batumi Sea Port LLC via the
Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. The shipment was delivered to Batumi through a
multimodal transportation system, with Kazphosphate LLP as the consignor.
In 2025, Batumi Sea Port LLC plans to transship 50,000 tons of Kazakhstani ammonium
phosphate.
Furthermore, as part of its efforts to attract new cargo flows, Batumi Sea Port LLC
facilitated the first-ever shipments of 37,600 tons of Kazakhstani ammonium nitrate to
international markets via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in 2024.
KazTransOil JSC directly owns and manages production assets in Georgia through Batumi
Oil Terminal LLC.
Batumi Oil Terminal LLC provides services for transshipment, pumping, and storage of
crude oil, petroleum products, and liquefied hydrocarbon gas, as well as processed oil products.
The terminal operates using its own berths, technological pipelines, and storage facilities.
KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the main oil pipeline. It is part of
the KazMunayGas JSC NC group. The company owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of
5.2 thousand km and provides operator services for the maintenance of pipelines owned by third-party
organizations, with a total length exceeding 5 thousand km..
