India–Georgia Cultural Unity Evening Took Place
Organized by the NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future and supported by Credo Bank, TMA, and Indorama, the unique musical event “Cultural Unity Evening” was held in Tbilisi, bringing together outstanding musicians from India and Georgia on one stage.
The event became a true celebration of harmony, where the musical traditions of two cultures intertwined. For the first time in Georgia, the same concert featured performances by:
Mahesh Vinayakram — legendary Indian vocalist and representative of a renowned musical dynasty;
Denis Kuchurov — acclaimed tabla player and participant in international music projects. New Bana Ensemble — a celebrated Georgian group dedicated to preserving the country’s national musical heritage.
The evening offered the audience vivid emotions, a deep spiritual atmosphere, and a rare sense of cultural unity. Music became the bridge that connected East and West, tradition and modernity — creating a space of mutual understanding and inspiration.
