Summer Davos 2024: WEF Exec Dušek speaks on new growth frontiers
The 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as Summer Davos, opened with Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivering a keynote speech. He said the Chinese market is an open and massive market and the country is confident of achieving its annual economic growth target of around 5 percent. Premier Li’s message was heard by some 1,600 leading figures from the public and private sectors from nearly 80 countries and regions who seek new ways toward global economic growth. So, what is this year’s meeting focused on? CGTN’s Tian Wei talked to Mirek Dušek, the managing director of the World Economic Forum.
