Iran celebrated the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution

Mass marches were held in Iran on Saturday on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The solemn ceremony in honor of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran is attended by the President of the Islamic Republic Ebrahim Raisi.

More than 200 foreign journalists and 6,500 local media representatives covered the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution throughout the country.

Iran uses its own calendar and the current date in the country is 22 Bahman 1401.Every year on 22 Bahman (February 11), a state holiday is celebrated here — the Victory Day of the Islamic Revolution, which took place 44 years ago in 1357 (1979).
