The Gaziza Zhubanova State String Quartet has successfully toured in Georgia

Tbilisi, Batumi, September 10-12, 2024 – concerts of the leading chamber music ensemble of Kazakhstan – the Gaziza Zhubanova State String Quartet – were held with great success in two Georgian cities.
On the eve of the celebration of the national holiday – National Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Tbilisi, the quartet performed at the Vano Sarajishvili State Conservatoire of Georgia.
A separate concert was held in Batumi, the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia as part of the 11th International Festival “Batumi Black Sea Music and Art Festival,” which is held annually under the patronage of UNESCO.
In the art evening programs, European classics masterpieces were performed alongside the melodies of Gaziza Zhubanova. A special gift for the local audience was the miniatures by Georgian composer Sulkhan Tsintsadze.
Performed on “encore” kui “Adai” Kurmangazy reminds wide, as the soul of Kazakhs, steppe, free-loving horses, Kazakh Batyrs, – the listeners shared their impressions, applauding our musicians for a long time, not letting them off the stage.
Sophisticated listeners admired the high level of musical art of Kazakhstan and the skill of local artists.
In his speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, Malik Murzalin noted with special pride that the tour of the G. Zhubanova Kazakh String Quartet is a significant event that has contributed to the further development of cultural ties between the two countries.
The event was attended by Georgian officials, cultural figures, representatives of public and business circles, diplomatic corps, and international organizations, as well as our compatriots.
The artistic director of the creative team is its founder, Yernar Myntaev, an honored worker of Kazakhstan (cello). The quartet consists of national and international competition laureates: Aidar Toktaliev (1st violin), Alexey Lebedev (2nd violin), and Bekzat Saylaubaev (viola).
