On May 7, Kazakhstan celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day.

On May 7, 1992, President Nazarbayev signed a decree on the creation of the national Armed forces.
– The supreme values of our sovereignty are territorial integrity and peace in our land. These values are defended by our armed forces.
Today the Army is a solid shield of the country, an unshakable pillar of our Independence,” said President K.Tokayev.
