Swiss AI University SITE Expands into Central Asia and the Caucasus

The Swiss Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (SITE), a university registered in Geneva, is positioning itself as a next-generation educational institution focused on artificial intelligence, online learning, and practice-oriented education. The university is now actively expanding into Central Asia and the Caucasus, offering an alternative to traditional international higher education.

A University without a campus — but with global infrastructure

SITE operates entirely in a digital format. All studies are conducted online through the university’s platform, which combines traditional educational tools with AI-powered technologies.Students have access to lectures, schedules, tests, and faculty profiles, while also being able to interact directly with professors. However, the university’s key advantage is its integrated AI module, which accompanies students throughout their academic journey.

AI instead of a traditional career center

Unlike conventional universities, where career support is handled by a dedicated department, SITE uses artificial intelligence to perform this role. The system analyzes students’ academic performance, chosen specialization (such as FinTech for example), career preferences, and psychological profiles.Based on this data, the AI automatically matches students with internships and career opportunities worldwide – ranging from remote projects to offline programs in different countries. The AI system also assists students in preparing CV, building portfolios, and practicing for interviews, effectively acting as a personal career consultant.

Education through practical experience

The primary goal of SITE’s bachelor’s programs is not only to issue diplomas, but to prepare graduates with real-world professional experience. During the three-year program, students:complete multiple internships, build professional portfolios, receive recommendation letters, create optimized and marketable LinkedIn profiles, work on their own projects, including AI startups. The university also provides one-on-one sessions with professors, hands-on work with real business cases, and participation in professional competitions. In some cases, successful solutions to business challenges can even lead to direct job offers.

International recognition and accreditations

SITE already holds European and British accreditations, enabling graduates to work across EU countries. Its Executive MBA diplomas have also completed the recognition process in Kazakhstan.

The university continues to strengthen its international standing. An application for ASIIN international accreditation has been submitted, with approval expected in 2028. As the number of accreditations grows, so grows the global recognition of SITE diplomas.Students may also participate in exchange programs and internships in countries including Spain, Turkey, Mexico, Colombia, and others. Each year, top-performing students receive fully funded internships (excluding flights and visa costs). These programs include accommodation, logistics, and access to professional events. In 2026, for example, students will travel to Madrid to participate in an international incubation hub program.
