The issues of Turkmen-Georgian cooperation in the field of media and communications were considered
On 16 July 2025, with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, the Deputy chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography A. Kakaev had an online meeting with the General Director of the TV channel “Europe 24” V.Medzmariashvili. During the meeting, the sides considered issues of cooperation in the field of telecommunications and media. Mr.V. Medzmariashvili familiarized Mr.A. Kakaev in detail with the activities of the company, as well as the project on cooperation, aimed at covering important events taking place in Turkmenistan, and raising international awareness of the country’s role in the region and the world, preparing video materials, holding TV bridges and joint broadcasts between the two countries, and other issues.The meeting also discussed issues of covering such important events as the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.The participants of the meeting expressed their confidence that the development of cooperation in the field of media and communications will contribute to deepening mutual understanding, strengthening cultural ties and popularizing Turkmenistan’s achievements in the international arena.
